The challenge
Refresh our photography to reflect the premium nature of our products. Notebooks was the first product to get this refreshed look so it was very important to create an ownable style which we could apply to other products.

The solution
The strategy was to enhance the stories behind the products; what made them special, how they were made and the details on the materials used. We photographed the products up close using bolder yet natural lighting that helped to enhance the textures of the materials used. Shooting the product at unusual angles helped to elevate them as beautiful physical products.

Strategically there were 3 main types of imagery needed across our channels. Functional shots are helpful when you want to understand details of the products, often when you are ready to purchase. Conceptual images inspire and intrigue and alongside the lifestyle images will help customers to visualise how to bring their own brands to life.
